I Know a Guy is a free guide mailed to every home in your ZIP. 50 services, 50 companies, 50 phone numbers: the one to call for whatever job your house throws at you. I do the homework and pick every name, so you have a guy for every job.
How I pick: I research every company, and for the big jobs I ask several local companies about the same project and compare their pricing, responsiveness, and how they treat customers. Then I feature the one I’d send to my own family. The full rules →

Why I made this
I got tired of not knowing who to call.
Something would break and I was searching online, calling multiple companies and hoping I picked the right one. So I made the list I always wanted. I did the homework on every company and picked the one I would call for each job.
These are those companies.
The Winter 2027 list is filling right now. It mails in December.
Next time something breaks, you can call anyone. I would recommend starting here.
